ABOUT US
I became my a dog handler and trainer while living in Puerto Rico, now we reside in North Carolina. Early on I quickly developed a deep appreciation for working line German Shepherds due to their intelligence, versatility, courage and physicality. Now we are a small breeder of imported working line German Shepherds. Our breeding program is built on the genetics and characteristics found in the older European working bloodlines, Czech-Slovak Border Patrol-Pohranicni Straze and DDR-German Democratic Republic.
In addition to rearing and training, the overall characteristics of our dogs were determined by genetic factors inherited from their parents and bloodlines. These include high levels of Intelligence, Courage, Resilience, Strong Drives and Stamina. They also have a remarkable Strength of Mind and level of Perseverance.
Our approach to breeding is using and maintaining clean healthy bloodlines. This helps to ensure the mental and physical health of our German Shepherds and their puppies. When it comes to breeding we believe in the old adage, "You get out of something what you put into it".
Before acquiring our dogs we prove or test their working qualities such as level of intelligence, mental strength, courage, perseverance, adaptability and overall temperament. Then we do an extensive health check including X-Rays and blood work. We continue with routine health maintenance and checkups for the life of the dogs. Additionally, we provide regular mental stimulation and exercise along with a comprehensive diet that includes human grade food.
